My, do I envy you living on a farm! I live in the big city, and it is my dream to live on a farm with farm animals. I plan to do so upon my retirement.

Your well-written, well-imaged poem provides all the reasons I will enjoy farm life. I love the poetic devices (imagery, personification, alliteration) that you used to present farm life.

This is very well written and I love the vivid descriptions. The rhyme is terrific. One thing to check. In the eighth verse I think you have a missing word. In the "Barn" mice play.

Thanks Kiwigirl and yes the dog is a blue heeler. Yes you have had some wet weather in NZ, here in Tasmania we have had less than a third of our winter rain. Thanks again and cheers Kev
