Your poem is much needed in today's turbulent times. Like a balm to my hurting soul, the words flowed and helped give me hope. If only all could heed your words, we might find ourselves coming through to the other side.

Wow, thank you for pointing that one out, nobody else caught that, so thank you very much! Thank you for your review and kind words. It does my heart good to see how many support the idea of seeing this world do better. I hope if nothing else to bring awareness and have the sense of accomplishment to know that there are people who think the same way! We are the people when times get tough who will be the hero's ready to help everyone we can! Thank you again.

Unfortunately man is doomed to repeat the same mistakes over and over again, we do exceptionally well in that respect. Power is a poisoned chalice that politician's love to drink from, once they've had a taste... it sends them mad and the rest of us are left to pick up the pieces. A thought provoking write!

I think there are those who do not want to be friends, but just want power and it's hard to negotiate with these types. Good rhymes and flow. Seventh stanza, first word should read, 'It's time we planted a new kind of seed'. Love Dolly x

Really enjoyed this, the message within was so strong, and its feeling was powerful and emotive.
Some fantastic lines but the cherry on the cake was the last stanza....a worthy message.

A very well-written poem and plea that we should love each other if we are children of God and I agree with you. There must be a way to divide the sheep of God from the goats. He will come to do that Himself.

Well, I have to agree with you to a point, what you say is true, but as far as equality goes I feel there are different ways at looking at equality. We all have varying degrees of knowledge, experience, and talent and in that sense, one could say not all are equal. But after that, it becomes a judgment thing and in my eyes, we are all equal in the since, that we are all people, the same species. And yes I am a dreamer, mainly because it makes me feel better and I like to make others feel better too! Thank you for the excellent review and your comments too, I appreciate your feedback:)

AMEN to this poem! I love the way you are speaking up for all of us who feel this way, evil and corruption caused by greed has went on too long. The longing for mass consumables doesn't help. We need to get in touch with faith and get principles not false prophets in it for the money. A fabulous poem x well done Meia

AMEN to this poem! I love the way you are speaking up for all of us who feel this way, evil and corruption caused by greed has went on too long. The longing for mass consumables doesn't help. Thank you for your excellent review and comments! How did we let this world become so complicated when with just a bit of common sense and compassion it could be a safe and happy place for all! I know it's a tough job trying to manage as many people we have in this world, but come on, we have to do something different because we're heading for a collision that may end us all if we aren't careful! Now here I thought God's was with the apostrophe because it's a name. Like if I said the name, Julie,, the plural form would be Julie's, right? Anyway thank you for letting me know, I will correct that. Thank you very much for the excellent review and for finding truth in what I wrote. It makes me feel so good that I'm understood and not looked upon as a radical with crazy ideas. I truly believe in what I have written and feel it is what I am supposed to do. I'm just a messenger,, the credit goes to those who have gone before us in heaven. Anyway, now I'm sounding a little nutty! Thank you again!
