Excellent, great job on the writing, the more we allow our religious values to be corrupted the worse it will get. the principals and values are all in question. But we all need to pray, that Jesus guides our leaders in peace. nice write, have a good day

The power of an individual and one person's ability to promote change has erode greatly in recent years. So too has the power of prayer. Both are most important and this piece spells that out nicely.

Thank you for the posting.

Prayers will be answered soon when a new president gets into office. Not to offend or sound racist but Obama is largely responsible for stirring up a race war for the benefit of the democrats. Anger them and they may vote. The words he says... he has encouraged American citizens to be cop haters. He has added fuel to the fire. He is a Muslim so I question his motives. Al Sharpton has visited the white house on many occasions. USA has never been more divided. He has an evil heart, he reminds me of the scriptures, the Antichrist which will come but people will not know him until near the end of the seven years. I am a christian. All lives matter! How come the other races do not protest in the streets. This movement has been carefully planned, intentions of starting a race war from the white house. Our only hope in America is to get a strong leader. One of law and order and one that will protect our borders and keep us safe from the radical Muslims that kill us. now, we are a third world country, Obama wanted to change us and he did. now, cops are frowned upon by Obama and he does nothing to stop the cop killers. He was once stopped by the law, he has said so. things will not get better until we elect a new president that is not afraid to call terrorists radical islam because of being political correct. I am a catholic christian. fOR NOW, ALL WE CAN DO IS PRAY since we got no power to change things. Even Hillary Clinton is above the law. Any othert citizen would had been locked up. Maybe, we need to create a prayer group on facebook, and have people pray together, maybe at the same time so god will hear us. I hear your voice beckoned by Jesus. YOU CHOP DOWN A TREE ONE CHOP AT A TIME, so, I will pray tonight, maybe one voice does matter. I can pass it along, so others can pray. I think our prayers will be answered when we get a new president and we make America great again. America has sinned, so maybe this is our punishment, just like the flood, god destroyed mankind because of sin. Well, BOO will pray tonight. You are the dove, the messenger in the wind... shalom

Okie dokie. You seem you got a good heart. That is rare these days. Jesus is the answer, believe in Him. this world wil pass by but it is our souls that live for eternity, hopefully in heaven, not hell. our life passes like the dew off a day Lilly. I don't mind suffering on this earth , but I will never sell my soul to the devil. they will have to chop off my head, i will not turn Muslim, I will die as a christian. Take care, man are mortals, they do not have the answers to life. Have faith AND ASK FORGIVENESS FOR YOUR SINS and you will find peace in the valley. Good luck to you and your love mate. BOO

I'm a Christian - Jesus is the answer - I believe that. I don't hate or judge anyone - including Muslims. Most are very peaceful people. God loves all. I don't have to believe in the Muslim way and I don't. I don't have do as the Hindis do or the Buddhist but I respect them. Shalom, my friend.

not all muslims are bad, but the radical ones are the ones that are killing Americans. We must monitor the borders, so, they don't infiltrate us. Their religion is much different than ours. read the koron and you will see what I mean. It says to kill all Christians in it and I am quoting it from many people who has read the Koran. ISIS is in America now. Obama is a muslim and he has allowed this to happen. The WORLD IS EVIL NOW. We must elect a strong president that can make us safe first and make AMERICAN lives be number one. A country without borders is no country. i am a veteran, I have served and protected and sorry to say, but Hilary is in it for personal greed, she got millions of dollars from Saudi Arabia and muslim countries that kill homo sexuals, women can not vote. yes, she supported these muslim nations that kill women and queers for this. Do not take my word on it, watch FOX newsand listen to others that i am repeating what they say, they know. So, she is corrupt, she took money. Most people o into politics for a reason? They get wealthy, Trump is already rich so he is not in it for the money. He is not a corrupt politician. hILLARY HAS LIED REPEATEDLY, ERASED 30,000 e mails, people died because of Benghazi. have you seen the mother's of the killed Americans on TV? THINGS ARE BAD NOW, AND hILLERY IS Secretary of state. BE THE SAME, KILLINGS BY ISIS if she get s elected. That is my view. Good day and remmeber that the money she got from the Clinton foundation came from Suadi Arabia. And they kill queers and women can not vote and allowed to do many things. Do the research, don't take my word for it. good day!

Hi Teresa,

This is a well written piece. A good message and sentiments expressed for those who have a mind to listen, but as in all these things, it seems, it is going to appeal to those who are like-minded.

Anyone not of the Christian faith with turn away from such a message.

I come from a country where Christians blow the crap out of each other let alone anyone else. Same faith, same message, can't agree.

I think that prayer brings more solace to those who give it than to those who purportedly receive it, for whatever reason that may be.

All the best
G

As I read your essay on the response to the terror that reigns in
your country and elsewhere in the world, I couldn't help but think
of the prophets of the Old Testament who were plucked from
obscurity to lead despite protests of inadequacy. That God speaks
to you so clearly is in itself enough evidence that he's equipped you
for this venture. And nothing's really changed from way back then to
the present time. God needs his people to be peacemakers in a
world where peace is a transitory quality as its always been. Prayer
is the source of power for the faithful. Prayer is the power. I loved
your essay and wish your Godspeed in this endeavor.

Absolutely fantastic write, Teresa! I agree with every word. Turning to God and prayer is the only significant thing we can do. We have to show love and light to the world. It's a time when we all need to step out in faith. We must overcome the evil with good.

Hi, Teresa

= Excellent write. I agree with your message.
= We've been a country for too long who, because of a minority, have taken God out the equation in our society.
= It's time to put him back where he belongs--at the helm.

Your essay is well written, Teresa, and it's easy to read your enthusiasm and belief that the power of prayer will make a difference. I hope your call for prayer reaches out to all kinds of people. Instead of all standing together in prayer, it would be even better to kneel together in prayer.
Smiles,
Karyn :-)
