Wisdom out of the mouths of babe's. Cute and loving story. I have a four year old grandson. There is nothing more precious. Great story. Mary

When I saw the writing prompt for ?I remember? I was immediately transported back, in my mind, to this somewhat incoherent and yet extremely precious interchange with my grandson. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing with such extreme kindness and the five beautiful stars that you have given Gramps and Jadon. May God bless you!

LOL! How cute. I know what the boy means. But on the other hand, I've been known to play the same CD over and over, driving others crazy. He's right.. sometimes silence is best. :)

I really love when the little ones say things that we don't think they know. It is always quite hilarious. My grandson's when they were that young always came up with doozies.
Well written as the dialogue truly elevated this poem. A good contest entry. I wish you luck,,,,,Jim

Hi Gramps
LOL! Lovely to read a story of humour and love. Lucky boy to have a grandpa with such a sense of humour, even if, a repetitive taste in music. I love your little one's final word:-
"Gramps, sometimes I just like silence!" - ROFL ... usually the adults are saying that to the children. hahaha! An excellent little anecdote, such fun to read and leaves us with a smile. Well done. I wish you the best of luck for the contest ... and please turn down that CD. :))) Warm regards - Lovinia xoxo

Excellent! I could just hear the little boy saying that to his gramps, LOL, so very funny. They say ... out of the mouths of babes ... and it is so true. I think this is a strong contender for the contest, well done and good luck! xx

This short story meets this writing's rules. The story is a comical one to read. I enjoy reading something as light-heart is this. Like my kids' teacher said "things come out from a babe's mouth..." This is a precocious you boy. Never underestimate the small frame little humans because things come out from their mouth really make to stop and think about your action. Nice short story. Best regards.

Hi Gramps and Jadon, You are welcome. Any writing requires wringing the brain tissues for information, so I give credit to that bit of work. I enjoyed yours very much. Best.

I liked this story as it so shows that out of the mouths of babes comes exactly what they are thinking and they say what it is without fear of upsetting anyone, regardless of who they are. Good stuff.

Hi there,
Kids are always a good source for funny tales.
"I want to go to the store, Gramps" - need punctuation before the closing speech marks.
You use the phrase four-year-old three times in this short piece. You establish it in the second sentence and you don't really need the repetition.
It may be a good idea to separate the dialogue out so each speaker is on a separate line so they don't kind of run together.
