Lovely and to the point story. I liked the ups and downs and that in spite of downs you survive enjoying your kids and grandkids. The rhyming verses add much charm.

Before I say anything let me SHOUT never put down the quill. Everyone is a writer of one style or another. Having said that, I really enjoyed your poem about life. I love the way your words flow in good times and bad how bless your were that God was watch you.
I'm a great grand mother and my hearing is not so good my problem is I my memory is not so good.

Just tell them to think of you as a smartphone, or a tablet.
They'll understand that, I'm sure.
