I like this poem -- even in the midst of pain and discouragement - this person is saying he won't give up. He's gonna hold on - because he has hope. Cool message!

Favorite lines:

Could hope both be a vase with a single rose,
a tangle of wildflowers given away?

Excellent

This impassioned love poem is written in the voice of a person tired of the uncertainties of life with a lover who's either unreliable or uncommitted. The voice simply cries out for hope. Your poem is bristling with great imagery from the glint of tomorrow to the wildflowers that just may resemble hope. The rhyme works well but the meter is choppy. Nevertheless, it is a poem of passion, great word pictures and most importantly, the penning of hope.
