Catalina Island needs a passport? Why? Sounds like a gorgeous condo, but 500 grand? I wonder what teh monthly payments were. And what were their jobs? Can they afford to furnish it, too? Can't wait to hear more.

We need passports for identification at the airport in order to fly back to Florida. Nichole is private about discussing her finances. Jeff was a tax write-off. I doubt if he pulled in over twenty thousand a year if lucky with his free-lance jobs. They already had furnish enough to fill it. Black leather sofa and black leather chairs and footrests. Not my taste! I don't like leather furniture no matter what color and black is depressing.

I congratulate you, SPITFIRE. You are one of the few writers who can get me to read posts as long as those you submit. Why? I have no idea. Mayby it is just that you look so interesting.

Why thank you, my friend. I'm quite flattered by your attention. Must be the red hair.:-)

You may be correct. I always did envy folks with red hair.

Wish it were natural. LOL

A great chapter, Shari, fun to read, tense, especially when contrasted with your laconic "everything's cool" attitude.
"No," the same clerk shook her head. [Not a speech tag, so you need a period after "No," or {the same clerk said, shaking her head.} >> easier to put a period.]

I love you, Jay. You find my spags right away so I can get the change in before the others find it.
Shari xx

I was afraid I was being a tad nitpicky about that one.

Wow, an expensive condo. I'm glad you got to go see it though. I hope everyone got along and you found your pocketbook. Good post, my friend. I'm looking forward to reading more~Debbie

Thanks, Debbie. I forgot all about this pocketbook story until I started to write. The others were quite disgusted with me!
