It is nice that you can spend quality time with your daughter. Getting her to visit you though, does sound next to impossible. With her busy schedule, driving the entire way would take too long so the plane does appear to be the only viable option.
Is this sentence the way you want it? The word "keep" seems out of place.
Now, let me keep back to Frank's encounter with a ghost, a spirit, an entity, whatever you want to call it.

You're right about Nichole's not coming. We visit her again in a couple of years--20ll.
I haven't seen her now in five years. :-(

It is sad to go so long between visits. The great thing about living now is the technology that keeps us in touch. Thank goodness for phones and Skype. Still, there is nothing like seeing each other in person.
