Your sister is, well, amazing. All those plans, seemingly for all the right reasons. What a different look at a very complicated woman. Could things have turned out differently had your sister gone to doctor when she started losing weight? I know there some cancers little can be done about.

Still shocking, even though I already know the story.

Something for you to ponder:
This part of this sentence sounded awkward to me without the preposition at
You wrote: dinner that time of year or his father Might be better: dinner at that time of the year..... What do you think?

I think you're right about adding the preposition. More details about the cancer diagnosis in the next chapter. :-)

Oh my! I'm not sure where to start. My eyes are full of tears as I write this. I'm glad a read this for many reasons.I'm sorry for your grief, but I must let you know that your story is a huge eye opener and can benefit many people. I want to read more of your work. God bless you. You only have one grammatical error which is in the paragraph where your nephew is explaining how his dad like his mom is in denial alot. If you don't see it let me know.

I did write this chapter in the hope it would help others. Tears in this case assures me that the grief came through. I fixed the error.
Thanks for a wonderful review and rating.

That is not a good prognosis at all! She sounds like so many others that don't want to sound like they're getting over-excited about nothing, and then it ends up being something bad in the end. I feel most sorry for her son. This was well written and I enjoyed reading it - except for the prognosis that is. Best wishes to you, my good friend.

Always with respect,

There's a few surprises ahead, Eigle. When faced with death, my sister finally faced her emotional issues.
