Debi this is a lovely poem for Brooke, beautifully written and the content is perfect. Your third stanza is a little whisp of inspiration, clever, and a thoughtful way of including the dandelion that Brooke wrote about so often. This is one piece of writing she will enjoy reading. Thank you for the virtual six stars, Dorothy. The the thought is appreciated. I did want to work the dandelion in there somewhere, and I appreciate you mentioning it. I hope she recovers enough to write mor of her delightful verse.

This is such high praise. I certainly mean it as a heartfelt tribute to the ultimate poet. She is always so gracious in her remarks and understands the art of helpful suggestions. They are never hurtful, but always encouraging.

Thank you for the great review. I appreciate you pointing out stanza three. Since Brooke likes dandelions I wanted to include them somehow.

This reminds me of the Greek Muse and beautiful musical instrument the Calliope. Brooke was indeed capable of making musical poetry. You've captured so many of her wonderful qualities that continue to bring pleasure to so many.
