A lovely poem that sings a song of peace. The photo enhances your strong words. The doe and little ones send a peaceful message. Well done Shalom.

Hi Debi,
There's nothing like getting lost in nature to feel spiritual and wonder about life. I think of our souls as little sparks of God's loving light. It's hard for us humans to understand eternity, but it's a comforting notion.
Hugs,
Lou

Excellent Poem! The poem flows and connects well. The author's words are strong, clear and creative. The reader pondered on the words of this poem. The artwork is perfect and compliments the theme of this poem.

A wonderfully well set springs of well formed tarcets. I like the rhythm and the progression of this work gradually picking from the first tarcet appreciating the beauty of nature and finally delivered the crescendo of our essence in this place. I love this scheme. Nicely conceived and beautifully delivered.

really really nice..you know wj I am a prolific rhymer its my passion to write rhyming verse and I don't think I am written in 3 line rhyme before funnily enough it has always been 3 to 4 verse 4 line rhyme but you know what? I really like it! you just got to get into the rhythm and beat/ canter to appreciate how to read it
thanks for sharing much appreciated

Thank you for the very flattering review, Dr Dip. I ran across a few poems written in tercet (Thomas Hardy, Percy Shelly) while I was looking up Terza Rima. Some of them were rhymed, some were not. It isn't a form I have seen a lot, but I thought I'd give it a try. It does give a different cadence to a poem, which I thought was kind of fun. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

What a sweet inspirational poem. Love it. Thank you for sharing. Too many times we are all too busy to see beauty in everything. We are too busy to enjoy the beauty of God's creation. I would not change anything. Good job. Beautiful picture.

We should all take time to visit the Great Outdoors. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read.

Excellent use of mono-rhyming in each tercet
makes me/melodic/mixture - good use of alliterative grouping
more excellent alliteration follows
lovely detail of setting with an upbeat mood
thoughtful use of question in your closing of this poem of faith and appreciation

Sometimes we need to just step back and ponder the world and be thankful for all the splendor that surrounds us on a daily basis. Your poem reminded me of this. Perhaps I will look at tomorrow with a fresh perspective.
