Sigh ...! Oh, my dear Sandra .. you took me right back to my childhood and MY mummy, and my kids' childhood and ME being mummy!

What a precious gift you have, to enter the heart of a child.

Bless you, my sweet, kind friend.

Hugs and kisses,

Sonali

p.s. some thoughts below. Toss them out if they don't work! xxx

a little tear-drop trickled .. what do you think of .. a tiny teardrop .. since you have 'little' playmate immediately following?

rang, and Sue's mum came along .. mummy/ mother? ... say it out loud and see which of the three seems to work best

everywhere and will do (so?) till the end.

sandramitchell: a cute story I would want to read to my great-grandson. He is two and has a new puppy that he is afraid of but the puppy loves him. I'm sure that puppy will adopt one of his teddy's before long and we'll see who wins. Nice writing. livelylinda

How cute is that. I loved it, it was simple, with delightful rhyme and a lovely message.

I have no doubt little kids would love it and it would make a great picture book.

First of all, the photo depicts the story perfectly, good choice. Secondly, the story is well told and flies very nice and easy, perfect for young children.
The rhyming scheme was well done as well, nothing forced to fit.
Nicely done... John

This is so cute! It makes me think of Toy Story where all the toys worry they won't be the little boys favorite anymore. Darling picture and poem. rox

I don't think I have seen that one, is that what it's called? I will try to find in on the internet. Thank you once again for another lovely review, Rox! The picture is wonderful, I have to agree with you there. :) Sandra. xsx

This is an adorable uplifting poem Sandra and you are right, the picture is just perfect. I had a puppy in the seventies that looked just like that one except it was gray. I named him Tuffy and he was so cute he disappeared. They said the Carnival that came to town took a bunch of blooded dogs with them. Broke my heart, He was so smart! Wonderful poem. Nancy

Aw Sandra, what a gorgeous message. Such a lovely poem, well written as always in perfect rhyme and meter. The first 2 stanzas reminded me a little of the story line in Toy Story, when Andy's toy cowboy Woody felt usurped by the arrival of Buzz Lightyear! I really enjoyed reading your poem :) Kindest regards as always, Debra xx
