The cycles of life can't always be good times; and sadly, there are always more than a fair share of bad times for all of us. Thankfully, time can soften the hurt enough that future good times can be enjoyed. Thanks for sharing.

Beth,

UPBEAT? Bless your heart, dear one. Don't worry about the readers. It's you who need the care and attention. I'm soooo very sorry. That is one of those one in a million moments that seem impossible. Bless you!!

Thank you Robyn. That waa a long time ago and time does heal. It is harder when the person is older but the hurt was there for a long time evem with some we had only two months.

Beautifully rendered, Beth. Evenly told, and your heart is there but without loaded language, bombshell words, and so forth.

I understand your aversion to DPT; once burned, twice shy; and this was at least a generation ago; today's vaccines are much improved.

I grieve with you; several years ago I lost a child too. But he was 21, deeply depressed, and chose to leave.

Best regards,

-Joel

Thank you again Joel. I really appreciate how many of these memories you have read. In the beginning, the plan was to make the amusing but life isn't always funny. I'm sorry about your son. That has to me mush worse than losing a baby. Depression is a serious illness and hard to cure.

This is a very interesting story. The author creates vivid imagery for the reader in this piece of writing. The moral of this story is so very true. We have to weather the storm when it comes.

Excellent, sad story. Thanks for sharing it. I think I have read some of your stuff before if my memory serves me correctly.
Only one little tiny missed letter..."Grandpa, who was ten year older" I guess the 's' got missed on 'years'
No other errors as far as I could see.
I need to get on and do some more of my Non-Fiction in here for sure.
Cheers.

Wow! I am exhausted after reading this story! You have opened the box of memories which I keep in my heart. The title is perfect; "Into every life some rain must fall." I agree that life takes an unexpected and unwelcome turn. This story has been narrated in a natural way. I liked the phrase; 'My body didn't understand such restrictions and neither did I'. The trip to the hospital and the hours of pain are well explained.
I have noted the following: 1.they tried to 'resessatate her. (I think it should be 'resuscitate'). 2.making the necessary 'phones' calls.(I think it should be 'phone' calls.) This story found a special place in my heart. I lost my first born daughter when she was four months old. It was a terrible experience. The last paragraph is excellent. This comes from someone who has experienced the trauma. I will never forget my daughter. You will never forget your daughter. Though the period of grief did not last for ever. This is excellent work. Thank you.

James, Thank you so much for reading and commenting on this piece. A special thanks for catching the spags. Only someone who has gone through it can really understand the pain, so I know you do.

They say time heal all wounds, but I disagree. I think it is more a case of you learn to live with the pain. This is a sad story that is very well written. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much for the review and nice comments. Actually, in our case, the memory of the sad time remains but we have gotten past the pain. Writing about it did seem to bring some painful memories back.

This again, is another heartwarming story of a new couple creating a new family, grieving for the death of a two month old baby, but you are blessed with your new pregnancy. These are just one of the few stages that married couples go through building and developing a family. I will of course look forward to the next chapters of your life as a couple. God bless.
