Thank you for your kind review and your well wishes. My surgery was supposed to be a success. Today I actually feel worse than yesterday.

Hey, Barbara, Just hang in there! That always seems to happen with surgery~~you have to feel worse to get better. I'm having knee replacement myself on June 22 so I'll be dealing with these same issues myself. We'll just console each other through all this. :) You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

June 22 is only 11 days away. We can be partners in be. With a knee replacement are you stuck in bed for so long???

Still I'm stubborn as a Georgia mule about being helpless, I don't expect to be stuck in bed except when I'm asleep! I'm thrilled that I qualify for Minimally Invasive Surgery (which means the tendon won't be severed and my recovery time should be quicker). Of course, I'll also be having the SECOND knee replacement done later this summer. :( However, I'm definitely looking at the bright side: the pain of the surgery will be nothing compared to what I have now. I plan to be dancin' very soon!:)

I wish I would be dancing very soon. I have been ordered by the doctor not to get out of bed except to use the bathroom until Tuesday and then he will re evaulate it and see if he will let me put any weight on it. I did a number on it.

Very exciting chapter! I loved the action, and the ending was happy--that's always a good thing!I only notice one spag; "Glass exploded as the bullets 'come' in." (should be came). Great work!

Excellent book Barbara, although I came late into the story, I enjoyed the latter half. Good luck and thanks for sharing. I love happy endings, and I'm hopeless romantic!

Yes, I am using my laptop. I hate laptops, by the way. I am restricted to my bed with my ankle elevated for about 2 weeks, then the doctor will evaluate it again and see if I can walk a little with at walker. My butt is already sore. I am also on pain pills. My boys have already decided I am a bad patient.

My boys set me up in bed with the laptop, my TV, my DVD player, my telephone, Ipod, and my electronic sudoku. What else do I need. The change my ice pack and my ice tea and cook meals. They are doing that because they like to eat and I honestly am not allowed to move.

I am not a romance fan, but I have to say this is a good ending. I am intrigued. It is a good story. I read this last chapter first so I'll need to go back and read the previous chapters to understand the motivations of the characters. Thank for the writing such a good story.

The manuscript I posted before this one was about Matt, Her Pretty Little Neck. I will post a short story, then back to the novels. The next novel will be about Joe, Matt's sidekick. Thank you for your review.
