This is a funny story and I enjoyed it from beginning to end. There is one line that does not flow as well as the rest of the story. Actually I've come to the wrong address. I would put the next sentence on a separate line because it belongs to her not him.

Not only does the wrong man walk in she freaks out after he leaves and the tale on her teddy catches on fire. The poor woman has terrible luck. Her fellow, Adrian, he takes everything in stride. Great ending when Adrian proposes to our gal with the burnt back side. That's love. A perfect story for the writing prompt Valentine Writing Assignment. This one gets my vote for being funny and well written. Thanks for bringing a smile to my face and bringing me out of my winter funk.
