Ha, I really like this kind of fun, Sue. Creation AMAZES me!! The discovery of it has no end - and the fact that conditions in the universe are TEDIOUSLY and PERILOUSLY precise to sustain life is testament to a God who loves us, and brings the spring for us to enjoy:). Take care,
Heather

With its wonder comes its sorry, With its joy comes its lamentation. As you, your self said "Apologies to all you folks in the Southern Hemisphere - It's our turn! :-)"
Ps. I am glad its becoming spring too (even if that means the people in the other hemispheres are upset)

Sixteezkid,
if you lived in my area
you could have almost every season
within each week which is why I
spend hundreds of dollars a month
on sinus meds and the rest of my
neighbors have the flu, pneumonia,
etc. great poem, however

As I have said, probably too many times, I am new to poetry and totally unfamiliar with iambic pentameter. But I can speak to what I feel. This is a thought provoking poem that is also delightful and even a touch of humor. It is really very well written and brought a smile to my face.

What wonderful words written about "Universal Interest." Yes the tilt is very important but "Our Creator" designed the Solar system in "His Special Way." We have all learnt a lot about our earth. Many things are still a mystery and we won't know the real answer until we finally die. We may live again on earth in a different body and different time or else where if God wants us to.
The writer was very gentle with her words, caring words and thankful words, that many will read and enjoy.

Well, Sue, despite it not being a 'lesson', you taught me something. Are you sure, though, as I thought the Earth was flat! That's why I don't go out much cos I'm scared of falling off the end. ;-)
Perfectly rhymed and metered sonnet on an unusual and extremely interesdting topic.
You've displayed great intelligence, fun and poetic ability in this superior write.
Love, Ray xx

This was so uplifting, it made
feel like spring is already here.
I did look in my backyard and
saw my plants green and ready to bud.
I love your poem, it was a pleasure
to read. I found no mistakes, nothing to change.

I'm actually starting to look forward to spring now, even though it means thunderstorms. I would love some color, everything is brown, not white. Great job on this poem, it is interesting to contemplate all the variables that allow life to flourish on this planet.
