A satisfying end to the first victim. I like that she was able to recompense some of the past victims, and now it looks like she may have an impending successor.
My only comment is 'drug.' Now while is Southern US this is a common usage, in writing you should probably use the correct past participle of dragged.

I am from Texas. We say drug. Thelma drug Wilbur's fat ass out to the curb with the rest of the trash.:-)

Oh yes I definitely think she should finish the case and possibly all the other open cases. Why this could go on forever. It's like the new Dexter only female. You're keeping up a good pace. Very fun to read.
