Yes, kids in their infancy to take on an international flight wouldn't have be a picnic, and your hubby can't help where he's sent. We left Germany once on a return journey to Australia, from one of the numerous times we visited Germany, I read Iza's story, she's a gutsy girl too, I'm glad you stuck with your hubby, well done Barbara, blessings Roy

I've traveled with crying babies and I do understand why some animals eat their young. Lol. Your nightmarish story is unfortunately typical for army life. Families of the enlisted are considered appendages of the soldier. I really enjoyed reading this. Congrats on forty-seven years!! Gretchen

Hmm, I see this is a surface level story mostly about the travelling between here and Germany and how such a thing is with obligation, necessity, and little kids one parent has to try to control. Not an easy task.

Thank you for understanding. Many women have had to do and do it with more grace than I showed.

This is very well written, and I enjoyed listening to it very much. When I join the army, I went to Fort McCellan, Alabama for my basic training. I wish you the very best and I am glad that you have stuck together all these years even though you were army couple and that does take a toll on marriages, but you're survived how wonderful.

Thank you for the kind review. Even though it was tough, I honestly wouldn't change a thing.
