YARDIER!!! At last, you have returned!! I've definitely missed you. xo
What a cool poem this is, though I am still trying to sort it out properly. For me, what it's saying is that it's easy to forget that even in new territory, which can feel uncomfortable, the potential for joy remains intact.
I guess what threw me is the picture of those absolutely ADORABLE little blondies. My conclusion, then, is that the joy here is two-fold and unrelated: a great poem and a fabulous picture.
Great to read you again, Yardier!! xoxxo

WOW, hugs and kisses back at you! What a very nice greeting, Rachelle.
Well, the picture of two of my grandchildren fishing does, in fact, go hand in hand with the poem. In their innocence they are waiting for an additional moment of joy when they will be blessed, surprised, and taught patience is a virtue.
Another point to consider regarding the photo is it appears the children are sitting on an embankment of sorts. It may be a large granite boulder or something else. It is something else. It is the stump of a massive giant Sequoia. You can see another stump in the upper left corner.
I'd love to hear your juxtaposition.
Your friend, Yardier.

Beautifully written my friend, haven't seen you for, you've almost become a stranger. This poem is almost like you are reacquainting yourself. So well dine, great little post, blessings Roy
