You captured that eerie feeling of a Halloween night. You took us through the different changes as the day descended into night, and the bewitching hour finally came. I just have to say that I was impressed that you knew it was a "murder of crows," like a herd of sheep, etc. Wow! Take care.

Your poem paints a haunting atmosphere! I think it perfectly captures the feeling of Halloween. Your word choices are excellent. A good example is when the branches being pulled and the air turning into a "frenzied roar." This was so enjoyable to read. Great job!

This is an excellent halloween poem that brings so much creepy sounds, smells and scenes and creatures that capture the eeriness so well through each stanza.
Best of luck in the contest, very enjoyable, i love halloween, Ive dabbled in a couple of dark poems myself and think its a great time of year reading all the spooky poems!

This is a great Halloween poem. Very descriptive creating a sense of eeriness. It's flows very well without rhyme. Best of luck in the contest!
