I like the way Sami and Noah's reltionship is advancing. I'm wondering if the cracked door really was a blunder. Did Smi nd Nosah get to eat that night? I found one small hiccup:
"as Noah said, "Sarah, take of things in here.": "take care of things"?

I thought this was a pretty strong chapter, maybe one of the best in the whole book. The opening segment was chocked full of tension, beginning with the explosion of the arrest of the intruder and the exchange between Noah and Gavin. I thought the emotion in Noah's voice was ratcheted up a notch, and very realistic. You are good at realistic, emotional dialogue. We get a pretty clear picture of the character and soul of Noah in this dialogue. He can get carried away, he isn't perfect, and that makes him believable. Then it transitions into the exchange with Sami, which is also realistic. We all get pulled into these moments, and need to apologize, and accept apologies. Sami has to swallow hard here, and do it. Nice job with this one. estory

Congratulations on your milestone -- 1000. I am only a few posts behind you. I really enjoyed this chapter and could feel the true emotion between Noah and Sami this time. They are finally getting close and opening up to each other. Three cheers for Jasper as well. Give that pup a vest and hire him!
