I'm loving the story. I thought in Rachel's version the horses where sprinting toward both of you. I think I would be more likely to react to all of this more like you. I'm not exactly a Pollyanna, I've been around crowing roosters but I was able to tune them out. It is nice trick to learn. Otherwise they would have short live spans.

I'm great in a crisis but I figure the guys know what they are doing, therefore I would be in the way. We have a rooster in our neighborhood. Two in the afternoon the dang thing starts up. Lol. Thanks so much for this. Gretchen

I especially enjoyed the opening segment wherein you awake to the rooster crowing and seeing Rachelle in a far too large dress! Your descriptions are stellar and inviting to this reader's imagination!

Thank you, Barbara. I think it's a snake as well. When I was younger I was horseback riding and my friend's horse saw one and took off. She fell but luckily wasn't hurt too bad. I appreciate this nice review. Gretchen
