Hi Pam,
This is a well rhymed, whimsical poem. It evokes the scents and sights of nature and you love of it. In a way we climb towards the sun in the way we grow from baby to adult.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Hope your having a great weekend

This is cute. Personally, I want to be a cat or a bird. A cat because you just exist and do your own thing and people love you. A bird because they seem so much more free, flying in the sky. I appreciate that you included punctuation in this work. In general, I find it easier to read poem with punctuation because I know exactly how it's supposed to flow.

My wife and I enjoy all the flowers I've planted in my yard. Four flats of impatient (128 flowers), coleus, geraniums, begonia's, vincas, gladiolas and more.
A lot of work planting, feeding, weeding and watering, but it brings joy to us in these spring to fall months.
Thank you for writing and sharing your poem with us.
Cheers,
John

It's easy to get lost in the beauty of flowers. They are graceful gifts from god. That's why so many are given out of love. Thank you for sharing.
God bless,
Steve

Always a pleasure.

very nice. A flower´s bloom is always a perfect way to greet each morning. The elegance of it´s smell and the enjoyment of it´s beauty provides a reminder of life that is always in full bloom.

To each his own and to each one must remain loyal. In the end, we are who we are supposed to be and there is little if indeed anything that we can do about it. As much as we would like to change it, the one who has the power has already decided. You are who and what you are and there is nothing you can do about it.

Flowers are so lovely and they are varied in colors and size and even when they bloom and different flowers grow in different areas. God must have had a great day when he created flowers.
Well done Pam.
Blessings

Hey, in today's world you can be whatever you want to be. My husband was in WalMart the other day and saw a woman who identified as a cat. She was dressed in pink, never saw a pink cat, before, but who knows, she had ears, a tail, and whiskers. When he went to the parking lot he saw a small pink cat decorated as a cat. He thinks it might had been her cat, but didn't see her get in it. Thank you for sharing.

These are lovely thoughts to want to be a flower but it won't let you. I love the descriptions of melting into the soil but the flower foils your attempts to become a true flower. I can relate. Being one with nature is a monumental task and one that will take every bone in our bodies to complete. I long to be a bird. But just like a flower, it is unheard of to become a bird.
Keep trying, my friend. It can't hurt to try.
