I'm sure there are things about the Amish lifestyle I could live with too. They all work pretty hard and I've gotten lazy or maybe just old. Anyway as a kid my grandparents lived a lot like the Amish and there was where I preferred to be. I would miss my car and computer but other than that it might be nice. I'm enjoying your story.

I would love the quiet of the night. At night, I love to sit on the porch and just listen to nature. But I do enjoy my creature comforts. Gretchen
