I liked this poem. This is how reality really is today. We never know from day to day what is going to happen. And I have seen this happen so many times in life.

Hi Harry, It's not a poem, it's flash-fiction in 75 words. I appreciate you took the time to review, but a three-star rating should include suggestions for improvement (see reviewing guidelines), so could you either send some suggestions or perhaps reconsider your rating. Thanks so much.

Thank you!

You are such a tease, Wendy! You've left us with the tip of the iceberg and we have to use our imagination to work this one out. Clearly, one suspect is very much in the frame and the murder could have been committed in 5 minutes. Then again, the man running along the pavement could have been a different person altogether and responsible. We may need a sequel? But very interesting and a great open-ended flash for the contest! Good luck! Debbie

Lol. Yes, you are right. She may have died from natural causes. He may have been quite innocent of everything. Could even have been two different men. We don't know a motive, a crime, a weapon,
and the police could have been doing a welfare check... Lol. Oh well, I guess we'll never know! Thanks for the super review!

This short piece is so different than any I can remember you taking on. It seems as if you are going where Spock and Jim and the crew of the Enterprise needed to go. Good luck.

Thanks so much Tom! Yes, it's a bit different. Did he do it? Motive? Weapons? Emotions? Outcome? I'll leave it to you .... Lol

Wow!
I had no idea you could be so brutal! (laughy face here)
I know that you only had 75 words to work with, but couldn't you slip a hammer, or hay hook in there somewhere? (another laughy face here)
Good luck in the contest.

Ha, ha! In this one you have to imagine the weapons, and the motive, the actions, emotions, and the outcome! Lol. Thanks so much for your fun review, and for the good wishes.
