An excellent entry for the Dribble Flash Fiction contest. I have never turned down a biscuit or scone in my life and I will say that a pumpkin version sounds amazing to me! I can just imagine it on a cool fall morning with fresh berries and a cup of coffee. Good luck in the contest.

I can close my eyes and I could smell the wonderful aroma of homemade bread. My mother made homemade bread for our family. She had to make at least 12 loaves of bread a week and it was a lot of work for her. I understand entirely about your memory of the pumpkin that your grandmother made so I understand told me how you could have that kind of memory. Patricia.
