When a relationship has stopped working it is best for both parties to move on and be happy, I enjoyed your philosophy here Jesse. Your poem is uplifting, love Dolly x

Another fine poem, Jesse....and yours is the right kind of attitude, in the same situation, I resort to groveling; hasn't served me well yet, but one of these times....

Yeah, I see where you're coming from, Jesse, and I like and admire your positive attitude to the whole thing. It's a loss, but life goes on.
It's a wonderful poem you've written. Ulla:)))

-Nice artwork and presentation, Jesse.
-A well written poem as you reflect on
the nature of awareness and friendship.
-I agree with your second line that it
often can come with a cost.
-You do a good job showing the result:
standing out in the sunshine, not hiding in the shadows.
-A good comparison with awareness and meaningfulness.
-Even thought it is hard, it's necessary to move on.
-A good ending with the dolphins, one of our most peaceful creatures.
-Thanks for sharing it.

This is an emotionally healthy way to view life's events. We can't move forward to new experiences until we release the past. This does not mean we dismiss it as unimportant. Someone can be forever in our hearts and yet move beyond our shores...

Very nice, Jesse.

It's important to let go and move on when a relationship has come to the end. It took me five years to let go of my exhusband after the divorce. It takes a lot of strength to let go.

Beautiful poem and message. I love the presentation. I like the metaphor of swimming with dolphins, such wonderful creatures.

Gypsy hugs

Thanks for sharing, my friend. You reveal how difficult it is to let go and move on after a relationship is through. Dolphins are lovely creatures. Swimming with them would be a wonderful thing.
    Thanks for the hugs.

Letting go is very difficult but knowing that person is in a better place helps. Also knowing that person is smiling down on us helps too. My mom is positive that Dad is with her every day, in some way. Thank you for sharing. You continue to be in my prayers.

Thanks, Barbara, for the insightful review. David lives with his son in a neighboring state and is happy where he is now. I have come to terms with this and am moving on.
Thank you for your continued prayers.

There are a lot of nice dolphins out there. Good for you Jessie this is an excellent poem! I really enjoyed reading this. I think I will revisit the stars tomorrow and come up with a six. You paint a picture with words of someone that's realizing that meaningfulness is more important than anything else. Thank you for sharing this important poem.

Best wishes my Friend,

Alex :)

Letting go is hard. But to be self-aware in the process is a beautiful thing. It shows you are caring for your heart and soul and not making the separation about the pain of loss but about growth and acceptance of self.
