The author's words are descriptive, detailed and creative. I enjoyed the read and pondered on these words. The author describes
the scene well. The artwork is awesome and compliment this poem. Hi Melissa, hope
you are doing well....Maria

A lot of people love this time, but I do appreciate your use of eloquent and skilful abilities to make light, everyone makes eclipses look special when, even though there's been a few, I've missed them all, beautifully written, well done, blessings Roy

I am so glad that you got a chance to see the sore eclipse from where you are. Where I live, we only had about a 50% eclipse so it was not something that we could see very well here. I enjoyed your porn very much and your notes are special. Patricia.

Our eclipse is gone after lasting maybe fifteen minutes but probably not that long. I like your poem. Good description of today's events. I hope everyone gets through it safely. Thanks for sharing.

A cute poem with an interesting description of your view of the eclipse from Virginia. I love that you mentioned dogs barking. Animals always seem to sense when something is different in the atmosphere. Good alliteration. Hope you enjoyed watching the eclipse. Carol

It just went through here, too, "totality," but because, in true Rochester style, it was a totally overcast afternoon, we missed its full spectacular eventfulness. The full darkness at 3:30 in the afternoon, though, was definitely eerie!!

I saw on FB today an address in, I believe, Argentina, to send eclipse glasses so the residents there can watch it in August. I'm definitely going to do that.

You did a nice job summing up the experience with this impromptu poem!! xo

You have really presented and realistic and somewhat eerie picture with your poem which flows beautifully. I wish I could have been where you are. We did have a better view in 2017 in Chattanooga. I did see it when it was just a sliver this time but I didn't have the correct glasses so I didn't dare look long.

Very cool! I'm so glad you could see it! We're far from the path of totality so we can't see it and hotels in Texas were booked up a year ago.
I like how you noticed the change of sounds in this "twilight trance." Thanks for sharing!

Hi Sugarray, Melissa, I'm in NJ, and I, too, am watching the eclipse. It is a magical moment, and it does bring people together in peace and harmony.
Your poem reads and flows well, and your message is clear. Of note:

Beneath the sun, beneath the moon
eclipsing fades the midday noon.

(Today, we witnessed history in the making)

Well done. It's good to see you in print again. Xo. Margaret
