Nicely done. But, I gotta warn you, I will probably write one too. But I will wish you well in the contest anyway. Your picture is lovely. Have a good week.

Sandra: This pious write is not only calming, but attractive in layout. The
phrases almost have a staccato effect...giving the read a genuineness of
thoughtfulness, prior to speaking. I am truly sorry if I have misspoken
about your poem. Good luck in the contest. teafor2

Oh yes Sandra, to know Him is to know that complete assurance, which that we'll known hymn calls blessed, favourite verses would be Jeremiah 29:11, and Zephaniah 3:17, His plans for us are complete familial favour. Beautifully written Sandra, blessings Roy

That is so true, Roy. It's a shame not everyone agrees with us. I needed God when I was seriously ill in hospital, and with all the prayers that were sent to Him on my behalf from my friends here, and family, I know He came, and stayed with me. Thank you so much for the gold star, my friend, that is so kind of you. Love you lots. Sandra xxx
I'm going to check out those Bible passages now. xx

You are getting fives from me because I know it is only Tues. I truly am out of sixes. Otherwise, you would have two of them. This is absolutely gorgeous. I love the sweet endearing way you tell of how Jesus loves us and cares for us. As He did for you, I have been comforted by him many times. I am so thankful to hear that you give that pain to Him. There is no other feeling like being held tight in the arms of our Lord and Savior. God bless you, my dear friend. And may He always give you that comfort. I have been praying for that since you lost your brother.
Take care of yourself, Hon!! Love, Debi

I don't have any left, either! Lol. Thank you for another lovely review, Debi. It's a shame not everyone thinks that way, how much nicer their lives would be. I'm glad you liked this one, too. Warmnest hugs, my dear friend. Sandra xxx

What your poem shows is that even in our loneliest times when dark thoughts creep up on us, there is always someone there for us, and that God never abandons us. A well written piece Sandra.

A great celebration of grace and faith. This has a real simple, clean, straightforward format and language and the tone is nice and soft, humble, personal. We can all relate to this moment when we have reached rock bottom and Jesus is there to take us by the hand and pick us up and tell us he is by our side through all the dark times. estory

In faith, you reached out, and in faith, He responded. In good times or bad, he is a breath away and you've communicated this beautifully in your elegant Minute Poem. In the darkest of times, we must remember God's will is at work. Lovely...

Nicely written minute poem professing faith in Jesus Christ. The transition over the stanzas from despair, to sharing pain, to companionship was well done. Good luck in the contest.

This is so beautiful and elegantly written, Sandra. I have no doubt he came to you with all you've been through in recent months. It's comforting to know He's standing by, as referenced in your poem.

It's a diversion from the norm, but you can write in any genre and make it yours. Best, JohnC
