I'm out of sixes but don't take a mere five star rating as a total reflection of how much I liked this installment. It was another deserving of a six. I like the time you took with the poor elephant. It is an important part of the story. Keep them coming. Gretchen

Thanks, Gretchen, for this lovely review and the virtual six. Yes, the elephant is integral to the story. All good wishes, Tony.

Oh, no. Poor Bapit! This will be particularly difficult for him. How will he make a living going forward? Also, I enjoyed the object lesson about respecting the unique and wonderful elephant and not abusing them by forcing them to take ignorant tourists for rides. Hopefully there will be some liberation in Abharamu's future. :)

Ayesha is very complicated. I'm not exactly sure I understand her. I am sure I will by the end. So, Bapit lost his leg. This can't be good in many ways. I am enjoying reading this story. Thank you for sharing.

The next morning, she rang again. (The following morning)

She was glad that she had chosen to wear it. (you can omit 'that' it's not needed)
