Oh, I feel bad for Bapit. He seems like such an innocent and sincere young man. What would happen to him if he got tangled up with someone like Ayesha? Oh, well. We'll see what you will have them do next.
Somchai is an interesting character. He seems good but he seems also to be rather mercenary.

Thanks for the review, Helen. I'm glad to hear that the plot still engages you and you're finding the characters relatable.
Comment from Liz O'Neill
Coming in cold is simple with you with the helpful presummary. Thank you. This is hilarious for bit of comedy relief: "Abharamu, who was feeding in an enclosure beside the café, raised her trunk and trumpeted in response." This could be a foreshadowing for a cautionary tale. We'll see. The plot thickens: "Bapit walked back to the elephant enclosure, wondering what on earth had made him tell that lie." More lying and deception: "The chain meant nothing to Ayesha now, and she realized it could buy her some extra time. 'Yes,' she said, 'I suppose I could sell it. It is quite valuable.'" The ending will bring the reader back.

Thanks, Liz. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the encouraging words.
I sweated a bit, trying to encapsulate 2700 words in around 270. Had to use all the précis skills I learnt at school!

You did it

Another beautiful novel, and I cannot wait to read the rest. You have a way with words that keeps the reader on their toes. How will Ayesha prove her innocence and how will she survive in this new country?

This is very interesting. I can't wait to see more. Are you going to review more? Are my stories coming to your mail box? I don't show you on my fan page.

Whoa! I like this a lot.
It came up randomly in the review pool and I'm so glad it did.
I was impressed from the beginning with how succinct you were with words using them so sparsely, yet so effectively.
I wasn't so sure about reading a "Romantic Thriller" but enjoyed it thoroughly. I've bookcased to refer back to as I was inspired by your word craft and would like to refer back to it (plus I want to be sure to read the first chapter. I'm intrigued.
Kudos and cheers, WY

Thanks, Wy. I'm honoured by your six star rating. Always most affirming. I spend a lot of time trimming my writing to make it more concise.
I'm never sure what category my writing belongs to and generally stick with the General Fiction option. It's probably better to let readers make up their own minds.
All good wishes, Tony

Okay. Once I'm able to better pronounce the names I think I'll have a better handle to your story.
It's a different type of read for me, which I am enjoying.
Everyone is looking for the $$$$ and for themselves.
Looking forward to the next chapter.
Cheers,
John

Thanks, John. Ayesha and Bapit are the main characters. I've kept them fairly straightforward. I know how difficult it can be to come to grips with foreign names. That's why I rarely read Russian novels!
