Navada, I appreciate your very kind comments for my Proverbs poem. I believe that the young women of today would benefit from hearing what it is God wants from us. There is a saying that I read once that says, "If we don't teach our children to love God, the world will teach them not to." What a sad thought. Thanks again, my dear friend. Love, Debi

I am thankful you chose this chapter, one of the greatest! When I prayed for a Godly wife, The Lord sent me one of the best. When I tried to do it on my own, at college, I failed miserably with the exact opposite of the Proverbs 31 woman. God knew what He was talking about!

A beautiful poem of faith, Debi. The artwork is amazing and draws you into the verses. The rhyming sounds easy and not forced. Rhythm is great and your message well expressed.
Each line is deep and meaningful, telling a take of how you let God take control in your life. My favorite line, though, one really pulling your Gift and the Giver, together is, That's why I try to hand the reins to God each time I write. That one gives me chills.

Ulla, one thing you and I established a long time ago was our respect for each others differences. I couldn't adore you more if I tried. And I feel the same kind of caring coming back from you to me. This is an excellent poem about how we often fail God by trying to handle things ourselves but still he is alway willing go give us another chance. The role of women as see by God is one we should try to follow but we are can't seem to do it without a lot of prayer. Your poem is really beautiful.
