Hi Debi, thanks for your notes. This must have been a trauma for you as much as everyone else. I would love to have an explanation from Tom but that doesn't seem too forthcoming right now. Such a shame because your post has lost the magic it would otherwise have had. You've obviously put a tremendous amount of work into it and it shines through this flowing alliterative post that actually make sense and is full of your delightful humour. I wish you well with it although, sadly, it remains a rather haunting reminder of yesterday morning's 'nightmare' experience (none of which is your fault) Take care Debbie x

I'm just astounded that you managed to write an entire piece of this length using words beginning with a single letter... AND that it actually makes sense, and isn't appalling grammar-wise!

It's a shame you didn't feel it could go in the contest. I understand why, and applaud you for the decision, but I think it may have done very well.

Still, the way you got about getting it noticed is a bit sneaky... (I'm totally kidding, I'm sure no one blamed you for what happened). I see all traces of that little mishap ever having occurred have now been removed from the site.

Nice to see the piece in its final form and in its proper place.

I was sick until I knew it was going to be ok. Bad enough for myself, but the thought of it erasing everyone's portfolio was devastating and cried like a baby when Tom wrote back and told me it was fixed. It didn't matter that it wasn't my fault. I still felt responsible. So I am ok with not being in the contest. I also appreciate your fun comments. I truly needed the laugh!!
