Farm life. Rough and idyllic at the same time. You paint a lovely picture with your words, and it makes me think of how different life was before technology took over. When cows felt the warmth of the farmer's hands rather than the clasp of artificial milking machines. X

Use to be remains today, with a herd of Herdfords roaming free on three family units of near 200 acres, idyllically, until taken away to the sale barn. We have never eaten one of our own.
