It sounds like Jameson has made friends with someone who is well off. Since I haven't read the befinning, I don't if Iris has family or not. If she does things might get messy if she leaves everything to someone who is a stranger to the family. I'll wait an see how it goes.

This is a very sweet chapter in which Iris finalises the will which will benefit Jamison. (I think, Gretchen, unless there's a different US spelling, it should read 'liens'?) There is quite a palpable sense of calm that then comes over Iris. She is very happy that she has got her affairs in order for this man she treats as her son. All beautifully told. This is a very sweet chapter in which Iris finalises the will which will benefit Jamison. (I think, Gretchen, unless there's a different US spelling, it should read 'liens'?) There is quite a palpable sense of calm that then comes over Iris. She is very happy that she has got her affairs in order for this man she treats as her son. All beautifully told.
