Great job with this as the prevailing theme of love conquering health issues and evil continues. But in Elling, it seems that the love of money has destroyed him and he became soulless in the process, including murder of people and his own unborn child.

Life continues to move for these friends of ours. I am enjoying reading this. I do think it's your best novel that I've read. Not sure why, I just do. I didn't find any way to improve it.

A lovely strong start from the last chapter, Sally, with Tommy's hatred really pouring out and great catharsis for the reader; leading us into this continuing murder story with all its interlinking characters: a wedding on the horizon now that Hank appears to be improving; we also have Tommy's wife falling pregnant; getting Paulette booked is a priority now for the staff (wouldn't still trust him one iota!); concluding on the funeral of Simon's mother. We have all the emotions of life here excellently conveyed in, as ever, this very readable and well-paced story. Thanks for sharing, Sally. Take care Debbie x

Oh my, what an exciting chapter. It actually has me sitting at the edge of my seat wondering and expecting something evil to pop out of the woodwork at any minute.
How wonderful that Tommy will have another child for him to love, but never replace Phoebe. Willa will be a wonderful mother and him a great dad.
Simon's granddad will be such a joy for Daniel as he is growing. I love hearing more about what made that family tick. Especially now at Victoria's funeral. So much intriguing and interesting findings of what made Fee. Fee.
Hank's recovery is awesome and I love that the Doctors name is Shorter. Hahaha!
And also can't wait to go to that wedding. Don't bother with an invite, as I can just crash it. LOL.
