Thank you for sharing this with us. I also want to thank you for sharing Anne Murray with us. I love that song. There is so much love going on in this story. I really enjoy reading.

The besotted man continued, undaunted. (comma after 'undaunted')

Another good chapter I love the sweet ending with the dance and I enjoyed your dialogue throughout again, especially:

Fitzgerald Elling did not go quietly from the courtroom, hurling graphic threats at his attorney in parting. "This was a circus sideshow, Kenny! You're fired!"

"No, you're fired!" snapped Farnsworth. "Victoria came back from the dead and told on you!"

You truly have a gift for dialogue!

I'm attempting to finish a first chapter of a non fiction book about being the second of identical twins. I hope to be done in ten days and I would appreciate if you could review a paragraph or two before I post it. I can share it though a message. I've never written non fiction OR a chapter book. eek

Have a good day!
Alex xx :))

The
Story continues to fascinate. I usually don't jump in unless I see somewhere. Can help.

I would suggest watching those pesky contractions in dialogue. You have some 'I will / It is/ and we are in the dialogue. People nearly always speak in contractions. I had much trouble with this myself.

Regardless, great read, my friend. Bless you!

Thank, Douglas. I appreciate the comments and five star rating. I lived with my European grandparents for many years and write and speak using less contractions because they did, I suppose. I also say, "towards" instead of toward, and "go round" instead of around, and "pull the door to" instead of shut the door. Thankfully, my copy editor gets me.

I tend to use both throughout my writing because it's me. I'm a stickler on being true to myself. It serves me well overall.

Thank you, again. I appreciate you so much!

Sending you my best today as always.

Makes sense. I know the English rarely write contractions. Regardless, a great read!

Shame on you for making me cry right off the bat. You are making me like Farnsworth. Thus meaning there is some good in everyone. But now I can hardly see thru my tears. I just love a redeemed character and this one I never expected, but then I didn't expect to love Simon either. FEE eh', doubt that could ever happen. Then I just about stop crying and we get to go to France. Yay, except you make me cry again with the telegram. So I expect we will be seeing him in Aspen Grove soon. And I just can't be around Simon and Candace without total joy for them and the baby. I absolutely love that Hank and Betty are together and so in love. And that they love to dance, just like a couple couples I know. Awesome chapter. For sure without a doubt, my favorite so far!! ð???.. Thank you. I love this one most of all and for sure most of my tears still coming are happy ones.
