Thanks for bringing me back down memory lane with this song... I remember singing it along with the car radio and loving every line. Your faith poem is beautifully presented, in abab rhyme, and your four-line stanzas are delightfully divided into winter, spring, summer, and fall--reminding us all that there is never a day without God in our lives!

I just posted a poem similar in theme to yours, but I hadn't read this yet. I think you've done a better job articulating the specifics and expressing gratitude for the many blessings God gives His children. I firmly believe God loves to bless us, and also loves it when we say thank you, which you have done so beautifully in this poem. Thank you. I loved every word. MM

-Nice artwork and presentation, Debi.
-A well written poem with effective imagery and rhyme.
-I like how you use the aspects of the seasons
to go along with your thoughts about faith.
-I like the first verse with the idea that love
and faith will grow amidst the winter chill.
-I like the last one to use autumn's colors
as a symbol for aging and putting trust in God.
-Well done.

I really love this seasonal poem of faith. I made it a vow several years ago to see the beauty in every single season. Even on the days when it's damp and cold. I look for the beauty. On hot and humid days I search for it. Then on beautiful days I don't have to look. Thank you for posting. Gretchen

This poem about your faith in God was beautiful. I like the way you describe your seasons in life and how faith seems to change but God doesn't. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

A beautiful faith poem and it was a great idea to use the seasons to mark the ways and contexts where the Lord's love appears to us. You described faith perfectly in the final line:
"In God's loving hands, I'll put my trust"
Our pastor spoke on what real faith is using Thomas as an example, it doesn't mean we don't doubt, it means we trust even when we question.
And you've been through some rough seasons and your faith still shines ever more beautifully! Best wishes in the contest!

Beautifully written as always Debi, yes, we can all look forward to seeing Him as He is, I've heard some descriptions of Him, by those that were privileged by going to Heaven, but to to see Him, and to gather around thst throne with others Worthing God, that's something else, excellent post My friend, blessings Roy

Good luck wishes regarding the contest entry, Debi. You definitely covered all the seasons but you remained faithful. Each time your words proclaimed a glory it was to God and His Son. Very well done and greatly enjoyed. Blessings n Hugs!

This is a beautiful declaration of your faith, letting us know that it can withstand the changes and grow no matter the season of the year or of your life.
