Two authors with but a single thought. I remember injecting a case of premature ejaculation into Thomas and Lorna's love-making on the first occasion. Well, the circumstances were somewhat similar. So similarly I will be awarding six stars for this, an excellent post.

Thanks Jim, it was a hard one to write, as you well know. Making sure it wasn't smutty, but tasteful, isn't easy. I'm glad you thought my chapter was worth the sixth star, thanks so much for that and the lovely review. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Sex is difficult - at least writing about it can be. Lol.

You're right about that. We used to have an auther Jacqueline M Franklin, she was a really raunchy novelist, no holds barred. Did you even read her?

Thew name seems to ring a bell but I can't remember her work.

She left quite a while ago now. But I see her on Facebook.

This is an interesting chapter as apparently Meg has had relations with Miles, but he enjoyed the interlude with Margot more than ever before. It's great that Bessie has found incriminating papers, but will Miles be pleased to learn his father is such a bad man?

Hi Carol, Miles already knows his father isn't the kind of man he wants to be, so I don't think he'll be too surprised to learn what he's been up to. Miles thinks Margot is Meg, and she is, in a weird sort of way, so he's not cheating on Meg. Thank you so much for reading this chapter, I really appreciate it. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Wow! I can't see Margot being too keen to return to her own time unless she can take Miles with her! These bedroom scenes can go so wrong, but you have the art of walking that fine line between eroticism and lasciviousness. Beautifully written.
I also liked your description of a fine lady's clothing of the day, all trussed up like a turkey!

No, Margot has fallen hard for Miles, it will be a wrench going back to her own time. I'm really pleased that you thought I'd written the bedroom scene okay, I was nervous posting it. But it was a scene that had to happen and I'm glad it's out the way with!! Lol. Any other bedroom scene will not be quite so detailed. Researching the ladies clothing of that day was a revalation! The crinolins was a death trap, apparently more than 3000 women were burnt to death because they couldn't get out of them. They look pretty, but again, they were strapped into them. I'm glad we are in the comfy fashion now!! Thank you so much for the lovely review, and the golden star, Tony, I really appreciated them both. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

I never thought I'd read you write these intimate scenes, but you did it it tastefully well. In ancient biblical times, the betrothal always evoked the ceremonial side of commitment, the consummation was the marriage, which makes sense, the symbolic joining of the flesh, was pretty much like communion, which is the betrothal act. Beautifully written Sandra, blessings Roy

What a great chapter. You really take us back in time. Margot seems to have lost herself back in Meg's time. She is so consumed with attraction for Miles she may not want to leave. I'm sure wondering how this is going to turn out. I wonder how women put up with those clothes that were the fashion in Meg's time. They must have been quite uncomfortable. No wonder ladies had to have maids to help them dress. Will be curious to see what Bessie has turned up. judi

I think you will like the ending, Judi. :)) Thank you so very much for this wonderful review, and the golden star!!
I'm so pleased you liked it. I used to thing the crinoline/hoop, dresses were lovely, but after reading how you were strapped into them, just like the bustle dresses, it has really put me off. Over 3000 women were burned to death when wearing them. They were highly inflamable, and once the flame caught, you couldn't stop it or get out of the dress in time. They needed help to undo the straps which would have been impossible. What a horrible to die.
You'll find out what Bessie has unearthed in the next chapter. That solicitor wasn't daft! Thank you again, my friend. Warm hugs, Sandra xx

What a great continuation chapter, Sandra. I really enjoyed your words, they showed that Miles did indeed show up and he definitely took advantage of Margot/Meg. It was most interesting that she allowed him to do so. Very well done and greatly enjoyed. Blessings, hugs n smiles!

Thank you, Alie, for another lovely review. Meg and Miles already have that kind of relationship, so it wouldn't have been unnatural for them to make love. And Margot has really fallen for him. She's going to hate it when it becomes time for her to leave. Thanks again, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

I thought this chapter was written clearly and imaginatively with excellent descriptions and as far as I could see, no spelling or punctuation errors of any kind. Not having read some previous chapters is a bit of a handicap, of course, as far as understanding the story, but if I were an English professor I'd have to give this an A for good writing. It is also truly interesting and makes me want to read all the previous chapters. I shall try. MM

Thank you so very much for coming along to read this chapter, you have made my day with your comments about being an English professor!! That was a great compliment. I was so nervous posting this part, but it had to happen or the storyline would have been unnatural. Thank you!! I've a big smile on my face now, lol. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

-A very good chapter, Sandra, that has Margot anticipating the evening with Miles.
-You do a good job with the preparations for bedtime with Margot and the lady in waiting.
-It was fun to read some of Margot's reactions to the clothing, and how she wouldn't think about her bum being large after this.
-You also do a good job with her many thoughts and emotions.
-I also liked the book of poetry Margot saw as she happened to turn to "How do I love thee."
-It will be very interesting to see how Margot reacts in her own time and her own life after her evening with Miles!
-It will also be interesting to see what Bessie has discovered!
-Well done, my friend.

Thank you so very much for this fabulous review, Pam, I was so nervous posting this part! It had to happen though. I was so pleased to be able to put that part about the poetry, especially as that particular poem was written before Meg's time. It was natural she would have a copy of Elizabeth Barrett Browning. I thought Shakespeare wrote it, but he didn't. That line fell nicely into place. Thank you for the golden star, my friend!! I'm really happy you liked this chapter. Love and hugs, my friend. :) Sandra xx

I wondered what Margot would actually do when she woke up from this unreal dream with Miles. Will Bessie and Margot realize they cannot go on with a mystery like this? A ghost mystery that is turning uncontrollable.

Now Bessie has found something, Margot and she can start to put into action some sort of plan to save Meg from her murder. It has a twist at the end. Thak you for your lovely comments, Rosemary. Warm hugs, Sandra xxx
