I often write multiple endings for my stories. You would probably prefer the alternate one with the happy, Hallmark ending. :)

It happens to you, a sort of hallucination, you tripped on your own shadow, more peculiarly, you find your shadow stands erect when you go out from your shadow, even you find colour, and something else, sometimes others could see, you may think of shadows different characters; scary things happen; well said, well done; keep writing.
