Isn't it funny? The whole school now knows that Gabriel and Katherine are an item, but they're trying so hard to hide, so even Jordan knows that something's got to give, and all boys need a hero, and that's what Gabriel is, much to the realisation of Katherine. Beautifully written Barbara, blessings Roy
Typo : most (of) my team will be intelligible 2: (I) think Mr Edwards.

A well written chapter, not a dot out of place. Again with Melton, Kate being a victim and Gabe to the rescue (in a non-violent way).

Your story is moving along the path you chose. The dialogue and scenes are neat and concise. Your characters stay within their attributes and roles.

Keep up the good work.

I'm wondering what Melton's playing at. He knows Katherine isn't interested, yet he still perseveres. Is there something else going on with him? Hmm. I think Katherine's sons are all in favour of Gabriel, and will give their mum their blessing when the time comes. This was another lovely chapter, Barbara. I'll be away for two weeks. I'm off on a cruise around the Canary Islands, so I'll catch up when I get back. Well done, my friend, great chapter. :) Sandra

There's a lot going on in this chapter. Cool. I don't think Melton will get the message unless he's punched in the nose. But that's just me. Another good post, Barbara. Just one thing below:

"He pecked her [check."] I'm sure you meant He pecked her [cheek.]

Once again, another great read. I liked how Gabriel handled the "stalker." Just one teeny, weeny possible miss, this time if you like. Most (of)my team will be ineligible.

Hi Barbara, this was a great continuation to the story. That coffee shop incident caused quite a stir. And then the kiss in the car park, but I think Gabriel handled it very well. Now, what is next? Ulla:)))

People are so quick to make something out of nothing. I once worked as a security guard at a medical college one of the staff secretaries and I struck a platonic friendship. After Summer vacation, she unthinkingly hugged me and kissed me on the cheek. I was threatened with being fired and told that my wife would be informed of our affair. We had never done anything with each other than that friendly kiss on the cheek. She was eventually fired on some trumped up charges. Sometimes there is just no fairness from some people.

Thank you for the kind review. So true. Once I wanted to show my AP, something in the staff bathroom that the janitors hadn't fixed in weeks. I told him to follow me. He said, "I can't go in there with you." I was shocked. I just wanted to show him something.

Gabriel has a soft side that comes out when he's around Katherine and the boys, but no one else better cross him. I think he would defend them regardless of the outcome to himself. Great story! I hope the storm doesn't sink the boat!

I think you have captured the modern days of a typical family of this order and shared the feeling of good and bad situations with us, your audience. Of course, I have been a fan from the start, and knowing your style of writing; I stay a jump ahead. I hope you find a publishing company that will take an interest as your fans here have. Nature will heal that wrist in time. My best to you. Another good post.

This is a fun chapter. I like the fact that Katherine has Gabriel, Melton, the lawyer and the whole high school football team as suitors.

It will be fun to read more.

Well done.
