There's an abundance of action in this chapter and it held my attention from first to last. Pace is good and characterization is excellent. Description is adequate.

I spotted a fair amount of SPAG but I assume you'll pick up on it in a final edit.

You're a master at keeping the reader on the edge of his chair.

Thanks for the review, Lana. I used Grammarly and ProWriting software so I am disappointed that I still missed the errors. Hopefully, you or someone else will point it out so I can get the corrections that my software skipped.

Thanks for stopping by and saying hello besides reviewing. Actually, I have made two separate breakfasts for five children and John, cleaned the house and did dishes twice as well. BUT... THE ADULTS ARE NOT HERE and I am able to write inbetween the girls demands. We even cooked together and they enjoyed that. If everyday remained like today I could handle the circumstances, but I know when my daughter arrives, everyone changes. Thanks for thinking about me. Hugs, Carol
