Brilliant! Stunning twist--sucker punch! The masterminds messed up that telling detail amidst all the "definitive" clues they strew. You are the ultimate mastermind to construe such an ingenious plot!

    Forgive me please for my poor display of gratitude and appreciation. I truly am grateful for all your time, your review and your thoughtfulness. I'm struggling with life and I apologize for neglecting your efforts. I am weeks behind in responding so I must at least cut and paste a thank you and hope you understand. Great. Jaz was not killed and burnt. I'm eager to find out who was the dead body. I like the following sentence and it's beautifully written:
Garth smiled because he saw a glimmer of his Allie sparking from her beautiful green eyes.

    Thanks, Lisa. Angel (a wanna be movie star) was in facial makeup pretending to be Jaz.... she made the initial video that was sent to Allie showing Jaz being shot. Of course, Angel thought she'd be acting, not really being shot.
