And happy Mother's Day to you. I think Gabriel is the one who's showing sense her. This seems a fairly small community, and gossip can travel fast. Frost might not be the only one who tries to make trouble. I don't envy Katherine with her coaching burden. She has enough to worry about, and will probably be criticized if her girls don't win. Interesting details about her pre-race plans. She shouldn't try to live up to Gabriel's expectations, but that seems to be what she's doing. I hope she'll decide for herself what her capacities are. judi

And this is a kind of feel-good chapter, with a little verbal sparring between Katherine and Gabriel, but nothing serious. You're keeping everyone 'in character' with just a trace of tension when it comes to matters of coaching. That's good, I think. And you tease the reader with those little under-the-breath words of affection right at the end ... which, of course, Gabriel hears. I tell ya, things is heatin' up!

Gabriel and Katherine are fine together, nothing inappropriate has happened, so I would say they're blessed and highly favored. Did notice one typo: "I'm fine. I didn't sleep very well last night(?")

A former teacher, he was fired, accused Katherine of getting this teaching job because she slept with everybody, the principal and Gabriel and now allegedly hired a PI to prove it. Gabriel is a former pro-football player who had many beautiful models and wild parties. He's repented.
