This story does have the true stuff of miracles. You surely could have called your son to come and help you, but the fact that you thought of your mother almost seems like it had to be the way it was because you saved her life! These sorts of happenings haunt our thoughts.

"The reason it took her so long is, when *we woke up to the phone..."
"and another son was working night as a janitor"
suggestion: 'was working night (shift) as a janitor.'
Gee, this is a wonderful addition to the "Miracles" event.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. The Lord certainly does work in miraculous ways. I am not glad you had the heart attack, but I am glad that your decision to call your mother saved her life. This certainly was a miracle.
