"A grieving daughter", is an exceptionally well-written, and heart-wrenching piece. It was a privilege, to both read and review, this talented poet's work. To me, this is a six, but unfortunately I've run out of them. Good luck with the contest!

This is very thoughtful and beautiful, with a true and heartfelt message. Some people grieve so much they can't get on with life.. I know, I've been there. This kind of empathy can help. Good luck in the contest.

The sentiments are certainly filled with empathy, and comfort. I prefer a more regular style of poetry, but that is just me. I like the relationship between the person offering empathy and the grieving daughter, as she offers new thoughts for the daughter to draw comfort.

Then why 3 stars. Because it is not in rhyme. Not all writers are able to wrote in rhyme but have a story to tell.
I am sorry that you could not look past this and look at the grief instead.

Sorry, and yes, indeed you are right. It's just me.

Funny when I don't like or don't iunderstand another's work I just skip over. But that is just me also. More consideration of the writers effort.

This was a tear jerker. A tribute to mom to a friend/brother/sister was very well written. You have a very good grasp on how to express yourself in your poetry-and Well done!

This is a lovely and very supportive and comforting poem. I don't know if it is fiction or non-fiction but it would certainly be a lovely letter to give a grieving daughter.
I particularely liked the lines:
"But remember, your mom built a strong foundation for you with her sacrifices and love.
She built this foundation for you to stand and grow on."
This is a nice metaphor: a foundation for you to stand on.
Nice work. Blessings to you and yours.

Thank you for your review and comments. Part of it was written to an acquaintance who lost her mother.
