This is lovely, Marjon. There is always the golden NOW, with it's new and fresh and unique expression. And, when mixed with the "old" scraps from your box, will bring forth a bouquet "of things both new and old.
Matthew 13:52. "...every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like the master of a household who brings both new and old things out of his treasure chest."
The art work so abstract and colorful--lots of creativity and hope inside of you for your "new day". The pale green, a sign of life diluting the gray of the past few years, and ever turning more green as the days move along. Contrasts well with the gray of your book poetry pages.
Well done!

Your honest, from the heart language creates all this emotion in your poems. It is all very conversational too and so approachable for readers. I love all the images of the crumpled up pieces of paper, the poems written on pieces of toilet paper in the toilet. It really speaks of the possibilities of subject matter: all these small moments of life that we take for granted that are like little gems of sunlight coming through our windows. I have a poem in book in my portfolio called Patterns that you might like to check out. It is called Forgotten Poems and it is very much in the same line. estory

Very beautiful poem and so accurate about the writing. I have already pulled the car over to write something down. I hate it when I wake up in the middle of the night, have the start, a really good start, too lazy to get up, and the next morning GONE. But aware that you had something really great. I am going to get a tape recorder to put by my bed because this has happened numerous times. Damn.

Sometimes it takes a big jolt to open your eyes to what actually is. But, we have to want Him to come into our heart, we cannot leave everything up to Him, that was why He gave us the freedom of choice. I'm so happy for you, Marjon, now you will never be alone. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

This is well written with no errors and it has a strong message. I am not sure I get the relevance of the illustration. Your faith shines through this work. Nicely done.

Thank you, for the review. May I ask why Average, when you say it is well-written, no errors and a strong message? Nicely done, too?
-
You certainly can ask. I meant to give you five stars. I am so sorry. I have gone in and updated it to five stars. I think my age is showing--I have done this twice in the last month. Again, apologies and I fixed it.
-
Ooooh, that's a relief. I hoped it was a mistake and I wondered: why did she like it, and gave only three stars? Maybe she didn't like it at all...No apologies needed. Thanks!

This is a beautiful testimony. Sometimes it takes a long time to realize how much God loves us. Grief is crippling but faith in God and knowing he has the best in mine for us is comforting. It is relief to know we have a friend who will never leave us.
