It sounds like you're settling in nicely in your new community. I am worried about your heart. Hopefully, you are able to get some help before it causes more problems. Your chapter is well-written, interesting start to finish. I look forward to reading more.

Thank you so much for the review. Don't worry about me. I'm still around. I'm so glad you find my story interesting.

What an interesting post! I too have the white coat syndrome. The info on massaging or pressing the artery on the left side of the throat to slow down a rapid heartbeat is very useful news!

Thank you so much for the review and comments. I don't know if pressing the artery would work for everyone, but it works well for me. Other people say they have tried it and can seem to get to work.

(typos: physic s/b psychic; correspond (WITH) her (or simply write we corresponded); new church (PERIOD) The property)
Another gripping saga, which I'd happily read sans pay. Cheers. LIZ

Thank you so much Liz. I can always count on you, my friend. I really appreciate your help. I should leave that word, "psychic" alone. I always spell it wrong.

You spelled it right the second time--call it a typo!

I must have missed a chapter, The last one I read you had just bought a house in New Orleans. I understand about getting divine inspiration at the last minute, that's how I write. Very nice job. Stay safe and stay healthy.

Thanks for reading. You might have missed one. Sometimes new houses bring on other changes as well, lol My last child came 10 years after my twins were born. I'd been in New Orleans about a year at this time.

Your life flowed along as most lives do. With an immenent birth things do change. The thing about blood pressure is so true. The actual test makes my heart leap. I refuse to take any medication and I am still healthy at 88. I too had the rhythm problem with my heart; an extra beat. It hasn't happened for a good 30 years, so it was either smoking or The Pill that caused it. Your friend that dreamed about things that came true sounds like my sister and I. Your story is interestingly a peek into a very giving and active couple's life.

Thank you so much for the review and comments. I only take one half of a tiny pill once a day and I'm pretty healthy at nearly 83. I think medicine causes more problems than most anything. I'm glad to know there are others like me.

Well, Beth, it is a sure thing now. Another child in the making! And I read you are both becoming important members of your church now too! Good thing thennew church was near your new home.
Palpitations of the heart are not always too alarming, but it is good to control them a bit. I understand that it frightened you, but I also see that you could relax to normalize the heartbeat again. Good!
When your husband had so many bad side effects from his new medicine, did he not go immediately back to his doctor? He probably could have changed the medication..

Thank you for the review and comments. No. my husband avoided doctors, and it was many years later before he learned that another medication would have helped his problem.

Oh, I am sorry to hear that Beth. Sometimes one has to trust doctors and GO to them if something is wrong.
