A very well-written free verse poem about circles in our lives that bring memories of wedding rings in a perfect circle fitting someone's finger a symbol of neverending love promise to a beloved one

I think it would be quit a frightening experience to be floating in space and not feel feet firmly on earth. To be released into infinity and beyond seems a step too far, I enjoyed the freedom within your words here though, love Dolly x

Impressively vivid imagery--I can visualize the steps of instruction--I trust this is somehow symbolic, though I confess to being metaphorically challenged. Cheers. LIZ

Hello, Jim,

Interesting poem entry for the Fabulous Free Versers Club circles Challenge. I like the imagery. Free verse is one of my favorite poetic forms. Well done.

You have an interesting free verse for the circles prompt. I enjoyed reading it. Your topic is unique. There is great flow and imagery to your well-chosen words. I could see everything you wrote as I read. My favorite verse is the last one about the stars. Your ending is perfect, too that sums all nicely.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

I don't think I have read any poems from this club before now. I will have to check into this one.

The words you chose in each of your stanzas allowed the reader to take the trip your described. Well done.

I enjoyed the read!

First you imagine, and then you take the first step and then another step. You take a breath, you spine and you circle even deeper. Scary.

Well done.

Love the delicate structure and lines of the artwork, because the diaphanous lines create dimension and depth.

Such an intelligent poem and yes it seems the circle is constant in our universe and almost seems to stream like a Mobius strip with no end or beginning, but in truth maybe we're just too close to see.

Great job J and a fine contribution to the Free Verse Club.

Well, my mind is spinning....kinda; too old to imagine going in circles; your poem is unique in its presentation with simple wordings that you phrased so eloquently; thanks for the spin.

My mind has stepped inside the ring, and I am spiraling down, breathing, meditating, only to be brought back up like a slinky... That's how I imagine it. I'd like to see better line endings (not end on "like" and "this" and "which" - end on stronger words; it gives the reader a better idea of how the poem should be read... - (I'm on my big desk top so it has nothing to do with my device)
