Hello Willie,
Great job on this poem and story about the death of the Rodeo clown, Smokey Brown and the red bandanna. Smokey was a brave cowboy. I love your rhyming of your end word. This is such a lovely story. I enjoyed reading from beginning to the end. Well done. Happy future writing:-)

A very well-written story/poem about Smokey the rodeo clown who died a hero when he saved another's life as he put his own life on the line and only leave his red bandanna as souvenir.

It was sad to hear that he had been killed by the bull, but you can see how the story has become almost a local legend. I enjoyed reading this piece and I liked the rhyme and I thought the writing was well written. I enjoyed reading it!

You're very good at these Willie, poor old Smokey. Who did his best, and he was decidedly a hero. Beautifully written Willie, with a tremendous sense tale telling and A very articulate narrative, with a smooth, Abab rhyming, well done, blessings, Roy

This made me smile Willie as you told this story of a rodeo clown. I have never been to a rodeo and they sound like a lot of fun, but dangerous! He he he, a fun post, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

This was a great story about a brave cowboy Smokey. Great descriptive imagery and visuals. It was very tragic to read about how he died. He became a hero and legend. I liked your artistic presentation and artwork. Very well written and thank you for sharing.

Smokey

Hello, Willie,

I really like your poem. It has a nice rhythm and rhyme. Great imagery. In Spain we have bullfights and matadores, bullfighters. Many have died the same way Smokey did. Well done.

What a great story of a town's hero you have placed in rhyme. Wonderfully done!

There are so many dangerous jobs out there in the world... But this one has to rank near the top!
